Blackbraid quickly followed up their 2022 debut in 2023 with more native folk infused furious black metal. This is by no means a sophomore slump as it is equally excellent, methodical, melodical, and approachable as the first record. 9/10

Such a beautiful and melodic album, heaps of melody and blackgazing elements all around. If you listen closely, you can hear how the guitar melodies and ambiance set the tone for the album and as the album gets into its stride, its so so so great.

Immortal Frost Productions is a Belgian label releasing lots of true gems, and Antzaat is in my humble opinion clearly one of them. This EP escaped my attention and I am happy that I've taken the time to revisit the label roster and offerings on BC. Antzaat is sort of a side project of members of Ars Veneficium, another melodic BM great outfit by the way. Highly recommended !! No real favorite, all tracks are perfect.
